Cubs News: Kris Bryant injury update |
Star third baseman
Kris Bryant was hit in the head during Sunday afternoon's contest against the Colorado Rockies.
Bryant looked woozy and left the game as Cubs hitting coach Chilli Davis and assistant hitting coach Andy Haines were ejected for their actions in the dugout. The injury update from Cubs officials is that he passed his concussion test and he only has a laceration above his left eye due to his sunglasses. He will continue to be monitored by the training staff. This is all good news and it could have been a much more serious situation. Check out the scary video below: #Cubs @ #Rockies As you can see in this image, the pitch which hit Bryant actually cracked the brim of his helmet. Scary stuff. #GetWellSoonKB @Cubs pic.twitter.com/k7VPTbwIUi
