Cubs News: Kris Bryant's honeymoon off to a rocky start

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant finally has time to take his wife on their long awaited honeymoon. However, it hasn't started off very well as Bryant and his wife Jessica missed their flight on Friday afternoon.

"Finally getting the chance to take our honeymoon buuuut...we missed our America Air check-in by 30 seconds! 30!!! Where's the team sponsor love?!" Bryant tweeted. "

He said that his dad always told him to be early not late with the following saying.

"If you’re not 15 minutes early, you’re late."

Hopefully, Bryant and his wife eventually get to their romantic destination and get to enjoy their offseason before the Cubs start it up again in 2018.
