Newcomer Yu Darvish got the nod on the mound for his second spring start and pitched 3 1/13 innings (55 pitches) giving up two runs but striking out five batters including four in a row. Overall this spring, Darvish has a 1-0 record with 5.06 ERA with nine strikeouts and 1.31 WHIP. “I think right now I’m really where I should be,” he said to reporters. “All of my pitches, fastball, changeup, cutters, those were all good.
