Cubs News: Ozzie Guillen loves himself some Kris Bryant

by - Senior Editor -

Add another fan to the millions that love Kris Bryant.

Former Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen is now co-hosting NBC Sports Chicago's Baseball Night in Chicago show and appears to be in awe of Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant.

"I love this guy, since the first day he was coming in," Guillen said on the show Tuesday. "No matter how you look at it, besides a great player, he's a pro, and that's more important.

The way he goes about his business, the way he goes about his at-bats, everything is professional. He's just so good."

Bryant has had an impressive start to the season hitting .328 with two homers, 10 RBIs, and 1.026 OPS.

"This kid has a chance to be one of the best players ever to wear that uniform if they let him," Guillen said.

Many people think Bryant is a seasoned vet, but he has only been playing in the majors for four seasons while totaling 96 homers and 282 RBIs. There is a higher ceiling out there for him, believe it or not.
