Anthony Rizzo picked up another prestigious award on Friday night as he was named Defensive Player of the Year at first base. He was ranked first at his position in DRS (11), dWAR (0.2) and assists (125).
He was already named to the Gold Glove Award and Silver Slugger Award earlier in the week. Rizzo batted .292 with 43 doubles, 32 homers, and 109 RBIs on the season.
