Rizzo posts support for White Sox pitcher with brain hemorrhage |
Chicago White Sox pitcher Danny Farquhar suffered a brain hemorrhage during the sixth inning of Friday night's game and was rushed to University Medical center.
According to White Sox officials, he has a ruptured aneurysm that caused the brain to bleed and currently in stable but critical condition in the neurosurgical ICU unit. Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo and his team posted some well wishes to Farquhar. "Prayers for @whitesox Danny Farquhar," Rizzo said. "Another reminder how precious life is. Stay strong and keep fighting. My thoughts are with his family." Some things are more important than the game of baseball or a rivalry, especially everyone's health. Sending positive thoughts to the Farquhar family and the White Sox organization.
Get well soon, Danny.
