Way-too-early Vegas odds were released this week by 5Dimes on the favorites to win the 2018 World Series.

The Chicago Cubs had the sixth best odds as they trailed the Yankees, Dodgers, Astros, Indians, and Nationals as frontrunners for the championship.

The rival Cardinals are listed at 7th best overall odds but they probably will only be second or third in the National League Central. They have a tough task ahead if they are going to knock off the Cubs and even past the improved Brewers this season.

It appears that the Cubs are a little under-the-radar at the moment but I wouldn't count out the experienced young team out of making it back to the October Classic after a one-year hiatus.

Here are the full odds below:

Yankees +505
Dodgers +550
Astros +650
Indians +800
Nationals +800
Cubs +1025
Red Sox +1300
Cardinals +2000
Diamondbacks +2500
Angels +2800
Mets +2800
Giants +3250
