Vegas odds on Cubs winning the World Series

The Cubs are now a season-high 20 games above .500 after Thursday night's 1-0 win against the Pirates.

FanGraphs released their latest odds and have a projection of the Cubs winning 93.9 games and losing only 68.1 games.

The odds of them winning the National League Central is 88.1 percent and making the playoffs is 98.0 percent.

In the all-important World Series, the Northsiders have a 10.7 percent odds of winning it all which is second highest in the National League behind only the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The highest odds in the majors of winning the October Classic goes to the Houston Astros (23.2 percent), followed by the Boston Red Sox (16.8), Dodgers (13.0), Cleveland Indians (12.4), and Cubs.
