Anthony Rizzo might be getting out of his offensive slump.

In the fourth inning of Friday's game against the Diamondbacks, Rizzo shortened up his swing on two strikes and smacked a triple into the left corner of the outfield.

The baseball rolled all the way to the wall scoring Daniel Descalso putting the Cubs up 3-0. Rizzo hussled throughout and made it all the way to third base and was awarded an RBI for his efforts. He was pretty excited about the play and screamed in happiness to the Cubs third base coach Brian Butterfield.

Random Rizzo note is that his first career hit was a triple according to NBC Sports Chicago's Chris Kamka.
