ARLINGTON, Texas — Picking up right where he left off, Chicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez powered out a 395-foot solo shot against the Texas Rangers in the fourth inning of the Cubs' Opening Day contest. Taking Rangers starter Mike Minor deep in the top of the fourth, Baez got underneath a breaking ball and sent it sailing 395 feet into the left-field bleachers to open the scoring action for the Cubs in the 2019 season.
