WATCH: Baez makes perfect contact on go-ahead 2-out double |
Chicago Cubs shortstop
Javier Baez tabbed his 29th RBI of the season with a go-ahead double against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. Driving a slider thrown by Brewers starter Jhoulys Chacin to the wall in right-center, Baez scored
Kris Bryant to put the Cubs ahead 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth.
Baez made perfect contact on the opposite-field hit, and Bryant motored around the basepaths to score from first on the 2-bagger. A 2-out rally resulted in the Cubs taking the lead in the fifth, as Bryant hit a 2-out single that was followed by Baez's RBI double. .@javy23baez hitting to the opposite field is a thing of beauty.#EverybodyIn pic.twitter.com/OypCCWx81y
