'El Mago' can play some beautiful defense.

Cubs second baseman Javier Baez had a beautiful over-the-shoulder catch in shallow right field to end the first inning in Tuesday night's game against the Royals.

He caught it and was able to dodge outfielder Jason Heyward that nearly collided with him.

Baez actually made another over-the-shoulder catch in the fourth inning.
