WATCH: Baez wears Roberto Clemente suit at HR Derby, crushes 16 homers
Patrick Gorski - USA Today Sports
Javy Baez had a terrific showing at the home run derby smashing 16 homers in the first round on Monday night. His longest homer went an impressive 479 feet which one the longest of all the contestants.
However, it wasn't quite good enough as Dodgers' Max Muncy had one more homer to knock Baez out of the competition.
Baez was stylin' in pre-game as he was asked to wear a 70's Roberto Clemente jacket as a tribute to his childhood hero.
Cubs teammate Kyle Schwarber hit 16 homers in round one to advance to the next round.
