This was one of the few brights spots for the Cubs today.

Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant smacked a solo homer in the seventh inning to pull the Cubs within 14 runs at 16-2.

It was his 11th homer of the season and traveled an estimated 421 feet to the bleacher seats at Wrigley Field.
