With thousands of people watching from nearby Wolf Point and the Riverwalk during a Tuesday lunch hour, Kris Bryant smacked more than fifty balls, spraying them to the right, up the middle and to the left. This was Bryant’s first batting practice session of the opening home stand since hitting was canceled at Wrigley Field the night before due to rain.

“It was the best batting practice I have taken all year,” Bryant said. “Too bad we didn’t have a game today.”
