WATCH: Contreras bashes second home run on his bobblehead day

by - Senior Writer -

CHICAGO — The opener of the Crosstown Classic between the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox also served as "Willson Contreras Bobblehead Day" at Wrigley Field, and it is safe to say that today was the perfect day to honor the Cubs' star catcher.

With a career-high seven RBI, Contreras hit two home runs on the day, including a solo shot to left-center in the bottom of the sixth. A 435-footer that sported an exit velocity of 110 miles per hour, the round-tripper put the Cubs up 7-2 on the White Sox.

Having already hit a grand slam and picked off a runner at second base, Contreras definitely provided the Cubs faithful with a show on his honorary bobblehead day.
