Today is National Lazy Day.

Rookie Juan Soto must really get into the mood of the day as he had a very lazy moment in a crucial play during Friday's Cubs-Nationals game.

In the 8th inning, Cubs catcher Willson Contreras picked off Soto with a throw from his knees who was taking a large lead off of first base.

Contreras was extremely happy after the play with several screams for others to hear.

Soto looked befuddled after the play but he probably deserved what he got after giving his former teammate Brandon Kintzler a death glare after every pitch during his at-bat.
