by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Cubs are playing impressively on Wednesday night at PNC Park.

Starter Cole Hamels had a nice Cubs debut on the mound going five innings with zero earned runs and the Cubs currently have scored 9 runs through eight innings as catcher Willson Contreras had a two-run dinger.

On the night, Contreras is currently 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, and the home run.

It was his 8th homer of the season and it traveled an estimated 380 feet.
