WATCH: Contreras throws baseball out of stadium after bloody nose |
The Chicago Cubs have some talented defenders in the outfield roaming Wrigley Field.
In the third inning of Wednesday's game, Jason Heyward threw a perfect strike to home plate to gun down Dodgers base runner Chris Taylor trying to score on a sacrifice fly. Some credit has to go to catcher Willson Contreras because he had a quick tag to get the out. Contreras got a bloody nose on the play but stayed in the game. He actually showed off his excitement of the play by throwing the baseball out of Wrigley Field entirely.
