WATCH: David Bote blasts 417-foot Bote-Bomb

The Cubs are having a home run derby with the wind blowing out at Wrigley Field on Friday afternoon.

Cubs second baseman David Bote hit the third homer on the day for the Northsiders to put them up 4-1 in the fourth inning.

The homer was his first home run of the season as it went over the wall in left field reaching halfway up the bleachers. It went an estimated 417 feet with an exit velocity of 96.9 MPH according to Statcast.

This is only Bote's second career homer that didn't tie or give the Cubs the lead according to NBC Sports Chicago. Cubs are now up 4-1.
