by - Senior Editor -

It was a heartbreaking 4-3 loss for the Cubs as the Dodgers took the game on Tuesday afternoon at Wrigley Field.

In the ninth inning, Kyle Farmer hit the go-ahead double on his final strike off of reliever Justin Wilson to put the Dodgers up 4-3.

Brandon Morrow did not get the save opportunity even though he has not pitched since June 7.

Cubs manager Joe Maddon said during postgame that Morrow had his back tighten up yesterday on him.
