CHICAGO — Sending a moonshot into the night sky at Wrigley Field, Kyle Schwarber crushed a pitch and lofted it 416 feet out to right field on Tuesday. The two-run jack scored Javier Baez and increased the Cubs' lead to 4-1 over the St. Louis Cardinals.

The fifth-inning dinger at Wrigley Field came on a sinker from Cardinals reliever Seth Elledge. Scorched out to right, the two-run home run left Schwarber's bat at 113 mph. The left fielder now has four home runs and 10 RBI on the season. Baez watched the no-doubter fly into the bleachers before making a move on the basepaths, as he knew that it was gone right away.
