PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh native, Chicago Cubs left fielder Ian Happ made his presence felt in his return home on Thursday night. With the Cubs taking on the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park, Happ crushed a solo home run with a beautiful swing.

Making perfect contact on a breaking ball thrown over the middle by Pirates starting pitcher Ivan Nova, Happ effortlessly blasted a 426-footer into the bleachers beyond right-center field for his 13th long ball of the season. The dinger broke a scoreless streak to start the game and put the Cubs up 1-0 over the Pirates in the third inning.
