WATCH: Highlights from Cubs' slugfest with Brewers

by - Senior Writer -

MILWAUKEE — Featuring a combined six home runs, the series opener at Miller Park between the Chicago Cubs (76-63) and the Milwaukee Brewers (71-68) was a power-hitting slugfest. The Cubs ultimately came out on top of Thursday's National League Central battle by a final score of 10-5.

In addition to efficient performances at the plate by Willson Contreras and Ben Zobrist, Kyle Schwarber led the Cubs by powering out a jaw-dropping grand slam that sailed into the upper deck. The dinger marked the second grand slam hit by Schwarber at Miller Park this season.
