WATCH: Highlights of Cubs-Cardinals game, including Yadier Molina getting drilled by foul ball

ST. LOUIS — Tagging Chicago Cubs (60-44) pitcher Jose Quintana for six runs in the opening inning, the St. Louis Cardinals (53-51) won rather convincingly on Saturday by topping the Cubs 6-2 in the second game of a three-game set.

Javier Baez provided the Cubs with their only runs on a two-run blast in the fourth inning, which served as Baez's 21st home run of the season. In addition, Jason Heyward made a phenomenal play in the outfield for the Cubs, as he gunned a runner down at third base with a tremendous throw from right field in the second frame.

There was a rather interesting moment in the midst of the first-inning onslaught by the Cardinals. A few pitches prior to hitting a grand slam in his first at-bat of the game, the Cardinals' Marcell Ozuna drilled star St. Louis catcher Yadier Molina, who was on third base at the time, with a line drive.

Lining a shot foul, Ozuna unintentionally plunked his teammate on the back. With Molina standing in foul territory when he was hit, the ball was ruled foul. Fortunately, Molina was not hurt on the play, and he and Ozuna both laughed it off.
