CHICAGO — Shutting out the Cincinnati Reds (56-75) to secure a four-game sweep, the Chicago Cubs (76-53) hit two impressive dingers as part of a 9-0 victory. In addition to third baseman David Bote and left fielder Kyle Schwarber going yard, right fielder Jason Heyward made an impact on offense for the Cubs, as he went 4-4 and tallied three runs and two RBI.

Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks was just as impressive as his batting compatriots, with the right-hander giving up just two hits and one walk in seven innings on the bump. Chicago starters boast a stellar 1.67 ERA in the Cubs' last 10 games. The North Siders have won five in a row and have also tallied at least one home run in 11 straight games.
