CHICAGO — With his first career extra-base hit, Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jose Quintana drove in a run against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday. Quintana drilled a double into the gap between left field and center field and plated Cubs third baseman David Bote.

Quintana tallied his third RBI of the season on the 2-bagger, which came in the bottom of the second at Wrigley Field off Brewers starter Chase Anderson. Bote, who doubled in the previous at-bat, crossed the plate on the double and put the Cubs up 3-0.
