Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber is working hard to get faster and more explosive for the 2018 baseball season.

Check out this latest 14-second video of him working out in the Tampa, Fla. area and trying to eat better. By several reports, he has lost close to 40 pounds already this offseason.

"After the season personally, it wasn't the season that I wanted it to be," Schwarber said in the video. "I feel that being the best athlete that you can be and the best person you can be, it starts from a health perspective. It's a lifestyle change and not just a short fix. I want this to carry on down the road."
