WATCH: Lester with bounce throw to catch Ryan Braun stealing

Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsel said during pregame on Thursday that his team would be aggressive on the basepaths against veteran lefty Jon Lester.

In the first inning, Ryan Braun stole second base without a throw as Lester was still fixing some dirt on the mound. However, the next pitch, Braun got greedy and was gunned down on a bounce throw (nicknamed Pippen-to-Jordan play) to Kris Bryant at third base for the third out in the inning.

Lester stared at Braun as he walked off the field after the out.
