WATCH: Maddon ejected after horrific call by umpires

by Tony Crumpton - Senior Editor -

Cubs manager Joe Maddon was tossed after arguing for around five minutes after the home plate umpire made a bad call by overturning a strikeout call by Curtis Granderson on Wednesday night.

All the umpires got together after Dodgers manager Dave Roberts complained and somehow overruled the strikeout by saying it was a foul tip. The replay showed that it was a blown call by the umps.

This is the second ejection by Maddon this postseason which is the first time in MLB history that one manager has been ejected twice in one series.

After all the craziness, Granderson struck out anyways for his fourth punch out of the game.
