WATCH: Pirates announcer trashes Javy Baez |
Chicago Cubs second baseman Javy Baez hit a massive two-run homer and had one of the top defensive gems of the year against the Blue Jays on Friday.
However, not everyone is a fan of his "flashiness" including Pittsburgh Pirates announcer Steve Blass. "Anybody except Javy Baez. He is a difficult player for me to root for," Blass said. "That's a nice way to put it -- his flashiness. That's part of it." Baez is hitting .272 with 20 homers, 58 RBI, and .310 on-base percentage this season. In his last 16 games, he is batting .311 with seven homers, 13 runs, and 18 RBI. Check out the interesting video evidence below. #Pirates announcer Steve Blass doesn't like #Cubs Javier Baez. Why?
