WATCH: Rizzo drills go-ahead two-run homer vs. Brewers |
The fans went wild at Wrigley North on Labor Day as Cubs first baseman
Anthony Rizzo drilled a two-run homer to right center field on a 2-1 94 MPH fastball to put the Cubs up 3-2.
It was his 24th homer of the season which went 395 feet with an exit velocity of 104.2 MPH, and 35-degree launch angle. The homer was one of his most important dingers of the season as the Brewers left in reliever Josh Hader in for a third straight inning and the Cubs made them pay dearly. It was the first homer that Hader had given up against a lefty all season.
