WATCH: Rizzo skies go-ahead home run in extra innings

by - Senior Writer -

MILWAUKEE — In the 11th inning of a grueling game between the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers, Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo gave the Cubs their first lead of the contest.

Skying a home run to right field off Brewers pitcher Matt Albers to lead off the 11th, Rizzo put the Cubs on top 3-2. A moonshot near the foul pole, Rizzo's dinger traveled 410 feet at a launch angle of 34 degrees.

The go-ahead bomb marked Rizzo's 11th home run and 46th RBI of the season and also served as his first hit of the game.
