CHICAGO — Putting the Chicago Cubs on the scoreboard, Cubs second baseman Robel Garcia clubbed a 2-run blast at Wrigley Field on Tuesday. With his third home run as a Cub, Garcia increased his RBI total to six and pulled the Cubs within one run of the Cincinnati Reds.

The dinger, which made the score 3-2 in the bottom of the second, was the first hit by Garcia at the Friendly Confines. It plated first baseman Anthony Rizzo, who hit leadoff single in the previous at-bat. It carried 392 feet out to center and left the bat at 100 miles per hour.
