WATCH: Russell called safe after review on incredible slide

The Cubs are finally scoring some runs as they plated four runs in the second inning.

Starting pitcher Tyler Chatwood bunted the ball for a squeeze play and Addison Russell dove to tag home plate. The home plate umpire Angel Hernandez mistakenly called Russell out but Joe Maddon called for a review and it was overturned by the officials.

Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina was also illegally blocking the plate on the plate but it was not called.

This is the first time in 10 games the North Siders have scored more than three runs in a contest and they sent a total of nine men to the plate in the inning.
