WATCH: Russell homers in first at-bat back |
Chicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell returned from the disabled list on Saturday afternoon and hit a pinch-hit homer in the eighth inning against the Cardinals. It was his first at-bat since Aug. 2 because of a right foot injury.
The homer went an estimated 437 feet which would be the longest of Russell's career. The Cubs are now up 4-1 in the eighth inning. Check out the video below.
