WATCH: Schwarber crushes epic blast into upper deck |
Obviously,
Kyle Schwarber hasn't lost any power this season.
The young slugger absolutely crushed a 3-1 pitch halfway up the upper deck in right field to tie the game at 2-2 in the second inning against the Marlins on Saturday night. It was his second homer of the season and it traveled an estimated 407 feet and had an exit velocity of 111 MPH according to Statcast. Cubs announcer Jim Deshaies said, "that was a BIG ONE" about Schwarber's bomb.
