WATCH: Schwarber guns down runner with perfect throw |
The
Kyle Schwarber experiment is working out well in 2018.
The young left fielder gunned down Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman as he tried to score at home plate after a stolen base and then an errant throw on second base by catcher Willson Contreras. The outfield throw got there just in time as Freeman looked in disbelief that Contreras was able to have time to tag him. It was a perfect play by the Cubs defense to get him after the initial error.
