WATCH: Speedy Schwarber steals two bases in one inning |
The offseason has been terrific for Cubs outfielder
Kyle Schwarber with his body tranformation by losing a reported forty pounds, and it shows in his early play.
On Sunday against the Giants, he had TWO stolen bases in the first inning of action against the veteran duo of Madison Bumgarner and catcher Buster Posey. Schwarber finished the day with two singles and then was pulled in the fourth inning to get some other players some playing time. This is a great sign for Cubs fans and it appears that Schwarber is going to be a much-improved ballplayer in 2018. @kschwarb12 Showing off the wheels! @Cubs #CactusLeague #MLB pic.twitter.com/D72aWTHPgL Kyle Schwarber had two singles with two stolen bases through four innings.#EverybodyIn pic.twitter.com/fZcGE20BTQ
