WATCH: Sweet swing gives Rizzo his 23rd dinger of season

by - Senior Writer -

PHILADELPHIA — For the second time in their contest against the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday, the Chicago Cubs tallied a home run off Phillies Cy Young candidate Aaron Nola when first baseman Anthony Rizzo snuck a solo blast just over the wall in right-center for his 23rd dinger of the year.

Making a sweet swing on a changeup thrown over the middle, Rizzo supplied the Cubs with a 2-0 edge over the Phillies in the top half of the fourth on a 398-foot bomb that sported a launch angle of 25 degrees and an exit velocity of 100 miles per hour.
