PITTSBURGH — Hitting leadoff on Saturday night, Chicago Cubs veteran Ben Zobrist lofted his ninth home run of the season to put Chicago on the scoreboard against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pulling the Cubs to within two runs of the Buccos, Zobrist made the score 3-1 with a 370-foot dinger in the top of the third.

It marked the third solo bomb of the three games played thus far in the four-game set at PNC Park. Interestingly, the three homers provided the Cubs with their only three runs of the series up to that point. #Cubs 1 @ #Pirates 3 [T3-2o]
