Weather update for Tuesday's Cubs-Indians game

Game on for now.

Cleveland Indians officials expect the game to start on time and will play throughout a light rain tonight. The tarp is currently on the field before the 5:10 p.m. CT start.

As of now, until their is heavier rain, there is no delays.

Cubs manager Joe Maddon said the following to the media in pregame about the rain.

"It looks like we're picking up where we left off here," he said. "It's still raining."

The Cubs lineup will be the following:

Albert Almora Jr. CF

Javy Baez 2B

Anthony Rizzo 1B

Willson Contreras C

Tommy La Stella 3B

Kyle Schwarber DH

Addison Russell SS

Jason Heyward RF

Ian Happ LF

Tyler Chatwood (0-3, 4.60 ERA) will be on the mound today opposed by righty Josh Tomlin (0-2, 8.00 ERA).

Kris Bryant gets the night off after getting hit in the head with a pitch on Sunday. He is fine as he took batting practice indoors on Tuesday.
