Young fan skips school for Cubs game, runs into principal

Fourth-grader Tucker Speckman had the tremendous opportunity to skip school to attend the Chicago Cubs home opener on Wednesday.

Speckman had a funny sign that read: "Skipping school. Shh! Don't tell Principal Versluis."

The ironic thing was that the principal was also skipping school and they both ran into each other at Wrigley Field.

"I kind of hollered, 'Hey, you're skipping school'," Patrick Versluis told ABC Chicago 7.

Both parties had a good laugh about each other playing 'hooky' as they took a photo together with the sign that Speckman brought to the ballpark.
