Cubs News: Yu Darvish MRI update

The Chicago Cubs got good news on Wednesday.

Cubs starter Yu Darvish has no structural damage on his arm with some right triceps inflammation according to multiple reports.

"It doesn't sound awful and he'll get on his program," Cubs manager Joe Maddon said on Wednesday. "It's good news on his side pretty much."

He will start throwing this weekend or early next week. It appears that Mike Montgomery will more than likely get a start against the New York Mets on Saturday.

For the season, Darvish has a 1-3 record with a 4.95 ERA, 49 strikeouts, and a high 1.43 WHIP.
