Cubs News: Yu Darvish headed to the DL

CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs today placed right-handed pitcher Yu Darvish on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to May 4) with parainfluenza virus.

A starting pitcher for tomorrow night’s game against the Miami Marlins will be determined. A corresponding roster move for Darvish will be made prior to tomorrow’s game.

Darvish, 31, is 0-3 with a 6.00 ERA (20 ER/30.0 IP) in six starts with the Cubs this season.
