Bryant named on Sporting News' NL All-Star team

Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant had a fantastic year in his only second year in the big leagues.

Bryant was named on Wednesday to Sporting New's National League All-Star team for batting .292 with 35 doubles, 39 homers, 102 RBIs, and an on-base percentage of .385.

For his career, he is batting .284 with 65 dingers and 201 RBIs.

Bryant is also a favorite to win the National League MVP award.
