Cubs attain 3rd highest season attendance in team history

The Cubs ended their home slate of regular season games on Sunday night with a 2-1 win against the St. Louis Cardinals.

It was an incredible run for the Cubs at home with a franchise high 57 wins at iconic Wrigley Field.

Cubs fans were actually there is large numbers to witness the special regular season with an average of 39,906 tickets and a final number of 3,232,420 paid tickets. This was a 9% increase over last season and only the third season that the Cubs patrons went over three million fans (2007 and 2008).

The Cubs 99 total wins so far this season is the most since 1935.
