Cubs fan sends a drone to Indians Game 2 starter

by - Senior Editor -

Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer injured his right pinkie during a drone-related injury during the postseason but that will not stop him from starting game two of the World Series against the Cubs.

Bauer was last seen in Game 3 of the ALCS in Toronto with blood gushing out of his finger as he was forced to exit the game.

So obviously, one bold Cubs fan named Jason Mallett sent him a mini-drone as a gift in the mail as a reminder of his off-the-field incident with a drone or maybe he thought that Bauer would play with the drone and forget about his upcoming start.

He also sent him a note with the gift.

"Hi Trevor, Go Cubs Go!" From Jason Mollett

For the season, Bauer is 12-8 with a 4.26 ERA with 168 strikeouts and a 1.31 WHIP. During his two postseason starts, he has pitched 5.1 innings giving up seven hits with a 1.50 WHIP.
