The Chicago Bulls (1-0) hosted the Boston Celtics (0-1) at the United Center for the season opener as the Bulls won 105-99 behind Jimmy Butler's 24 points and Dwayne Wade added 22 points on 4-for-6 shooting on 3-pointers.

However, fans were still thinking about the Cubs and their first World Series appearance since 1945 as two fans raised the "Fly the W" flag during the fourth quarter.
