Cubs raising season tickets prices for 2017

The Chicago Cubs won their first World Series since 1908 and demand for tickets have never been higher.

The Cubs announced on Monday that the average price of Cubs season tickets at Wrigley Field will rise 19.5 percent overall in 2017.

Club box infield seats will have the highest increase with some areas at Wrigley Field going up as much as 31% over last year's prices while bleacher seats will go up 22%. The lowest increase is 6% for upper deck tickets.

The average price of a ticket is $58 at Wrigley Field in 2017. The Cubs had an amazing 98% renewal rate in 2016 while over 100K people on currently on the waiting list for season tickets.
